Qualifications

• Experience in childcare settings or early childhood education.
• CDA, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or coursework in related fields.
• Experience with lesson planning, classroom management, and family communication.
• Knowledge of Virginia childcare licensing regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Provide hands-on learning through play, art, music, movement, and literacy.
• Support social-emotional development and positive behavior.
• Communicate regularly with parents and families.
• Collaborate with teachers, center management, and curriculum support staff.
• Participate in professional development and training.
• Supervise children at all times and maintain correct ratios.
