Job summary

The Learning Experience in Phoenix is seeking a Lead Teacher for two-year-olds. You will manage a safe, nurturing classroom and deliver engaging lessons aligned with our LEAP Curriculum, emphasizing play-based learning and strong family communication.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of teaching experience; CPR/First Aid are preferred. We offer paid time off, medical options, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of professional teaching experience
• Preferred: 2+ years of professional teaching experience in daycare/preschool
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage the classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, fostering a growth mindset to develop young minds and ignite a lifelong passion for learning.
• Implement our proprietary LEAP Curriculum, tailoring it to meet the unique needs of two-year-olds.
• Plan and deliver effective lesson plans and teaching strategies for two-year-old students.
• Utilize a diverse range of learning modalities to engage students in each lesson.
• Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes both play and learning.
• Maintain regular communication with parents, sharing progress and achievements through various channels.
• Collaborate with center staff and leadership to support the center's goals and enrollment.
• Build strong relationships with families and colleagues to create a harmonious learning environment.
