The Goddard School of Macomb, MI is seeking an Associate GSRP Teacher for the upcoming school year. You will lead daily activities, implement an engaging curriculum, and collaborate with a supportive team to create a nurturing classroom for young children.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or CDA credential in early childhood education.
• Michigan teaching license is required.
• Experience with preschool-age children in a classroom setting.
• CPR Certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team member to provide a quality preschool program.
• Support children with individual and small group needs.
• Foster emotional and social development and positive self-concepts.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate instruction using a research-based curriculum.
• Follow the daily schedule per curriculum and GSRP guidelines.
• Conduct screening and ongoing assessment of children and provide instructional support.
• Create engaging learning environments with displays and centers.
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, and program activities.
• Assist in orientation and training of associate teachers.
• Collaborate with the associate teacher in planning and decision-making.
• Monitor behavior and support the educational process in the classroom.
• Participate in-home visits with an associate teacher and engage families.
• Maintain anecdotal records and portfolios for each child.
• Schedule two home visits and Parent-Teacher Conferences per year.
