Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, or in progress.
• 1–2 years of classroom experience in licensed preschool.
• Ability to lead classroom activities with confidence and consistency.
• Strong knowledge of child development and early learning best practices.
• Effective communication with children, families, and co-workers.
• A love for young children and their growth.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a classroom promoting preschool readiness and social-emotional development.
• Mentor assistant teachers and coordinate with families.
• Lead circle time, centers, transitions and routines.
• Ensure alignment with NAEYC standards and licensing requirements.
• Maintain safety, organization and positive behavior guidance.
