LeafSpring School at Cornelius is seeking a passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to guide a nurturing, high‑quality preschool classroom. You will lead hands‑on learning, maintain routines, and support children’s growth with compassionate guidance.

You’ll mentor assistants, collaborate with families, and uphold licensing standards while delivering engaging curriculum and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (in progress or completed).
• Minimum 1–2 years of classroom experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.
• Ability to lead classroom activities and routines with confidence and consistency.
• Strong knowledge of child development and early intervention practices.

Responsibilities

• As Lead Teacher, create and manage a stimulating preschool classroom aligned with developmentally appropriate practices.
• Mentor assistant teachers and coordinate with families to support student growth.
• Develop and implement lesson plans, lead circle time and centers, track progress, and adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain safe, organized, and engaging classrooms in line with licensing standards.
