La Petite Academy in Albuquerque is hiring a Lead Teacher to create engaging learning experiences, mentor fellow teachers, and support the daily growth of preschoolers. You will promote social, physical, and intellectual development while following licensing guidelines and our center standards.

We value energetic, dependable teachers aged 18+, with classroom leadership experience and the ability to meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Call the shots on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support the center’s success.
