La Petite Academy is hiring a Lead Teacher to guide preschool learners and mentor fellow teachers. You will create engaging learning experiences, promote social, physical, and cognitive growth, and lead classroom management in line with licensing guidelines and center standards.

You’ll build genuine relationships with enrolled and prospective families, support center-wide success, and participate in ongoing training and credential assistance offered by our program.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with classroom leadership experience.
• Ability to meet state childcare education requirements.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors with active children.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Care for preschool children and promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Take lead on classroom management, curriculum implementation, and license/center standard compliance.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success.
