Qualifications

• Experience documenting child progress using COR Advantage.
• Ability to plan weekly lesson plans aligned with curriculum.
• Capable of supervising staff and coordinating with families.
• Familiar with Michigan GSRP guidelines and licensing requirements.
• Commitment to high-quality education and development support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assessment, tracking and documentation of activities, progress, milestones using COR Advantage; ensure 100% documentation.
• Produce weekly comprehensive lesson plans aligned with center curriculum.
• Oversee conflict resolution steps and adhere to classroom licensing guidelines.
• Engage with parents/guardians via written, verbal and social media to build relationships.
• Ensure all GSRP guidelines and requirements are met as applicable.
• Attend RPP meetings/trainings.
• Supervise Assistant Teachers, Volunteers, Co-ops/Interns; ensure accountability to high standards.
• Meet each child's daily needs, including diapering/toileting, feeding, hygiene, and development support.
• Maintain classroom scheduling, update scheduling app, manage time off and PTO.
• Maintain compliance with State of Michigan Licensing at all times.
• Demonstrate leadership aligned with Greater Midland's Values.
