Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• CDA certification required or eligible.
• At least 1 year of lead teacher experience in licensed childcare.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) and NAEYC standards.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with co-teacher and staff daily.
• Mentor and train new staff.
• Plan STEM and literacy activities.
• Ensure children's safety and well-being.
• Communicate with parents about progress.
• Maintain classroom newsletters and portfolios.
