Job summary

VIP Childhood Development Center is seeking a Head Teacher for our Preschool Classroom to nurture and guide 25 children. The role emphasizes safety, curriculum delivery, parent communication, and team collaboration with fellow educators.

The position requires leadership, a CDA or Bachelor's in ECE, and experience with Creative Curriculum and Grow NJ Kids standards. CPR/First Aid may be preferred and ongoing professional growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Requires CDA or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Creative Curriculum.
• Knowledge of Grow NJ Kids.

Responsibilities

• Observe/assess children to ensure a safe learning environment.
• Implement school policies and procedures consistently.
• Communicate with Parents about child’s progress and issues.
• Conduct verbal and written performance evaluations of students.
• Develop and ensure Creative Curriculum lesson plans are implemented with Gold observations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
• Meet developmental needs of children per Grow NJ KIDS standards.
