Qualifications

• Lead Teacher certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff in designing play-based curriculum and supervise implementation.
• Ensure curriculum meets EEC/NAEYC/QRIS/DHSP standards and guidelines.
• Meet weekly with Teachers to plan, implement, document, and reflect on curriculum.
• Coordinate curriculum between morning and afternoon programming and document student learning.
• Plan safe and developmentally appropriate field trips connected to curricular topics.
• Design classroom spaces to foster independence and align with EEC requirements.
• Maintain safety and playground checklists per EEC regulations.
• Establish clear age-appropriate behavioral expectations for the group.
• Model nurturing, socially responsive care and support staff in meeting individual needs.
• Coordinate with Director/Teacher for IEP meetings and accommodations.
• Organize COR Advantage observations and three annual parent-teacher conferences.
• Analyze COR Advantage data to adapt curriculum for child development.
• Communicate with families about daily experiences while respecting confidentiality.
• Support the department's Race and Equity Initiative.
• Participate in staff and parent meetings and workshops.
• Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing training.
