Building Kidz of Columbia is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher for our 2-year-old preschool class in Columbia, MD. This full-time, in-person position offers opportunities for advancement and professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications include 90 Preschool Certification (Required), CDA preferred, and at least 1 year in an early childhood program. Must be able to lift 40 pounds and commit to First Aid & CPR training.

For campuses with kitchens, we prepare monthly meal plans and provide nutrient-dense choices daily. At our campuses without kitchens, we prepare nutritious snacks daily to supplement lunches provided from home.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
• At least 1 year of experience in an early childhood program
• 45 hour Preschool certification required
• 90 hour certification (Growth and Development/Methods and Materials) Preferred
• Associates Degree preferred
• CDA preferred
• Willingness to complete First Aid & CPR training
• Willingness to complete additional pre-service trainings as needed

Additional requirements for all positions

• Able to lift and carry a 40-pound object

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
