Full Job Description

You would plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child, in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning approach to teaching and learning.

Primrose School at West Woods is an accredited private preschool providing a premier educational child care experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infants through elementary-aged school.

Primary Responsibilities

• Must be Lead Qualified
• Responsible for overall supervision and daily class functions of children
• Observe all rules and regulations pertaining to health, safety, and care of children
• Assess each child's developmental needs regularly
• Implement approved lesson plans and daily schedule according to curriculum
• Plan parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations with leadership
• Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages exploration and confidence
• Provide verbal recognition and consistent expectations for behavior
• Maintain classroom, common areas, and playgrounds
• Attend staff meetings, workshops, and school functions
• Maintain professional appearance as per employee handbook
• Assist in other capacities as determined by Director or designee
• Follow State Licensing Regulations and school policies
• Work schedule and classroom assignments may vary
• Have a passion for and respect for young children
• Pass a Colorado Background Check and Trails before starting
