Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking a Lead Teacher for a Washington state preschool to nurture young learners and partner with families. The role emphasizes creating a weekly curriculum, supporting diverse backgrounds, and fostering a warm, safe classroom environment.

The ideal candidate brings 2+ years as a lead teacher, an AA/BA in ECE or CDA, First Aid/CPR, and MERIT/STARS credentials. This on-site position offers stability and growth within a caring educational team.

Qualifications

• Experience with children ages 3-5 in a child care setting.
• AA/BA degree in ECE or CDA.
• First Aid, CPR and HIV trained.
• Current STARS/MERIT training and TB test

• Works with children of diverse backgrounds.
• Understands the varied development stages of Preschool children.
• Creates and implements a weekly curriculum.

• Follows WA diapering procedures per the Public Health Dept.

What You'll Do

• Has the ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Knows proper diapering procedures per the Washington Public Health Dept.
  

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3 years to 5 years in a child care setting.
• AA/BA degree in ECE or current CDA
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Lead Teacher in a child care setting.
• First Aid, CPR and HIV trained
• Current on all STARS/MERIT training
• Current and cleared TB test
• Current resident of Washington State and cleared portable background check with MERIT.
• Professional appearance
