Job summary

Acquire4Hire in Washington state is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher for our preschool program. You will plan and implement a weekly curriculum, create a warm, nurturing environment, and collaborate with a team to support children ages 3 to 5.

The role requires AA/BA in ECE or current CDA, at least two years of lead teaching experience, and current STARS/MERIT training, TB clearance, and a portable background check.

What You'll Do

• Enjoys working as part of a team and is flexible about assigned duties.

• Understands the varied and necessary development stages of Preschool children.
• Must be able to create and implement a weekly curriculum.
• Provide a warm nurturing environment.

• Has the ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Knows proper diapering procedures per the Washington Public Health Dept.
• Current on all STARS/MERIT training
• Current and cleared TB test
• Current resident of Washington State and cleared portable background check with MERIT.
• First Aid, CPR and HIV trained
• Professional appearance
• Reliability is essential

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3 years to 5 years old in a child care setting.
• AA/BA degree in ECE or current CDA
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Lead Teacher in a child care setting.
