Ideal candidates bring relevant education, CDA credentials if possible, and 1–2 years of experience, with a commitment to safety and age-appropriate development.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training.
• Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multitasking to ensure smooth school operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with children for programs and safety.
• Meets background check eligibility.
• CPR and First Aid Certified.

Responsibilities

• Our lead teachers coordinate the daily operations of assigned classes.
• Teachers plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment.
• Teachers work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
• Feel a sense of accomplishment as you engage children in planned activities and monitor progress.
• Communicate with parents daily about children’s activities and milestones.
