Job summary

The Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges invites applicants for the Lead Counselor for the Summer Sprouts Pre-K Camp at our West Essex YMCA, opening December 2026. The role focuses on supervision, early learning, social-emotional growth, and safe, engaging activities for preschoolers aged 3–5.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide primary supervision for designated group of Pre-K campers.

• Plan daily routines and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of classroom and playground.
• Collaborate with Camp Director and staff to deliver quality program.
