Tiny Tots Learning Ministry is hiring a Lead Pre-K Teacher for our Lawrence & Castleton locations in Indianapolis. We seek an energetic educator who loves working with children, is nurturing, organized, and a team player. You will create lesson plans, follow state guidelines, and communicate with parents. Must be available full time, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare or early education preferred.
• Ability to manage a Pre-K classroom and follow regulations.
• Willingness to obtain CDA or higher certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pre-K classroom with a nurturing, organized approach.
• Create state-compliant lesson plans and activities.
• Communicate with parents about child progress and daily activities.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and daily routines are followed.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Use app to update and share class updates with families.

Tiny Tots & Dots Learning Ministry is now hiring a Lead teacher in our Pre-K classroom, at our Lawrence & Castleton Locations. We are looking for a teacher that loves to work with children, is nurturing, organized, and is a team player! Our Pre-K teacher needs to have experience successfully managing a classroom, creating lesson plans, following state guidelines and regulations, be comfortable speaking with parents, and be technologically savy to update children's activities on an app. Must be available full time, Monday through Friday, preferably 7:30 am to 4:30pm.

Job Requirements

Our Lead Pre-K Teacher must have Experience minimal of 1 year required in childcare center.

Teachers Job Description are as followed but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Using modulated, and appropriate voice
• Maintain a safe environment
• Follow all FSSA requirements
• Staying current on all trainings, certifications, and professional development requirements by the center
• Submit all needed paper for for your staff folder
• Maintain continuous supervision and accountability of students
• Follow state and center guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing classroom daily while closing and throughout the day
• Keeping your emergency red bag on you at all times
• Following diaper procedures per state standards
• Following daily classroom/activity schedules
• Remaining professional at all times
• Having a flexible and positive attitude
• Keeping classroom up to date on brightwheel
• Turning in lesson plans in on time
• Wearing the appropriate attire
• Communicating with parents
• Updating classroom decor regularly
• Not being on your personal phone
• Only using screen time when it is appropriate
• Providing age appropriate activities
• Washing children's hands at appropriate times
• Ensuring personal belonging are in a locker or locked cabinet
• Interacting with the children throughout the day
• Being on time for your shift
• Taking accountability for actions
• Being present for all center activities and meetings

Education Requirements

• High school or equivalent
• High school or equivalent

• Valid driver license preferred
• CDA(or willingness to obtain)
