Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of estimating experience in construction.
• Strong math, 2D/3D visualization, and risk evaluation.
• Fluent reading of plans and specifications; proactive communication.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Quantify material costs, labor hourly costs, and sub buy-outs for assigned projects.
• Lead team in the creation of proposals and bids.
• Develop bid documents for each project; prepare detailed take-offs.
• Present budget and value engineering ideas to owner and design team.
• Prepare detailed bid scopes for trade packages; manage bid lists.
• Coordinate with trade partners and assist with subcontractor buy-out.
• Attend design development and client meetings; maintain client relations.
