Job summary

Early Care & Education in Coppell, TX, is seeking a dedicated PreK Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging program for young children. This hands-on, high-impact role calls for creativity, compassion, and leadership in daily activities.

You will lead inclusive lessons, support whole-child development, and collaborate with families to ensure smooth transitions while promoting healthy habits and a love of learning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDA in Preschool or Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Care Education (Required).
• Meets HHS and DFPS caregiver qualifications (age, background check, medical clearance, annual training).
• Previous teaching or childcare experience (preferred).
• Early Childhood Education coursework or certification (preferred).
• Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license (if transporting children) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging lessons and activities (storytelling, music, arts, discovery play).
• Foster a nurturing classroom culture where children feel loved and valued.
• Model positive behavior while guiding routines and expectations.
• Adapt instruction to meet the unique needs of each child.
