Job summary

Otter Learning in Alabama is seeking passionate Lead Teachers to join our play-based program. You will plan, direct, and participate in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development from infancy to school age.

You will ease children into organized education using our curriculum, assist with daily care, and maintain open communication with parents via our Classroom Management system. Full-time and part-time positions are available, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Lead Teachers plan, direct, and participate in age-appropriate activities.
• Prepare children for kindergarten using the provided curriculum.
• Assist in daily care such as meal times, potty training, changing, and nap time.
• Maintain open communication with parents and other team members using the Classroom Management system.
• Lead Teachers will oversee classroom management and the daily tasks of junior team members.
• Assist the Assistant Director and Director in classroom and facility management as directed.
