Job summary

A Chil'd's World in Langhorne, PA is seeking a PK Counts Lead Teacher to work with children in the Pre-K room. A BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or PK-4 is required, with instructional experience in ECE preferred and the ability to pass background checks.

Compensation is $45,000 annually, pro-rated over a ten-month school year. We offer competitive pay, paid trainings, comprehensive benefits, a 401k with match, childcare discounts, and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or PK-4 required.
• Instructional 1 or 2 in ECE or PK preferred.
• Teaching experience required and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
• Implement lesson plans weekly covering all areas of child development and follow classroom routine; maintain parent communications.
• Establish professional rapport with families to provide quality care.
• Responsible for safety and well-being of each child, maintaining a clean and safe classroom.
• Maintain child assessments and portfolios; conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences in November and May.
• Physical ability to work around small children; including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Carry out daily classroom responsibilities related to child care.
