Job summary

The Midwest Playhouse LLC in Missouri seeks a Lead Pre-K Teacher to foster a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered classroom for ages 4-5, focusing on academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development in preparation for kindergarten. You will provide classroom leadership, ensure licensing compliance, and professionally communicate with families while exemplifying the center's mission and values.

You will supervise assistants, implement engaging lessons, and uphold safety and documentation

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in early childhood education and faith-based learning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom routines and maintain a structured, engaging learning environment.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with Missouri Early Learning Standards.
• Prepare children for kindergarten through hands-on learning and play-based instruction.
• Foster independence, confidence, problem-solving, and positive social skills.
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and readiness each day.
