Job summary

Learning Care Group in New York is seeking a Lead Pre-K Teacher to plan, assess and instruct based on each child's needs and program requirements. You will guide a classroom and partner with families to support early learning.

As a Lead Pre-K Teacher, you’ll create engaging activities, manage the classroom, ensure licensing compliance, and promote the child’s social, physical, and cognitive growth while collaborating with a supportive team. Monday–Friday schedule with benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies or related degree.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support student success.
