Job summary

Alpha is hiring full-time, on-site Pre-K teachers to lead a classroom focused on emotional safety, curiosity, and measurable growth. You design rich, play-based experiences fostering confidence, literacy, numeracy, and social development across ages 3-5.

We seek educators who view preschool as foundational learning, not childcare, with relocation assistance for Manhattan, NYC or Chicago. Compensation is competitive and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher or valid US teaching license.
• At least 2 years of experience with children ages 3-5 in a play-based setting.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design joyful, sensory-rich learning experiences building early literacy and numeracy.
• Create a classroom where every child feels emotionally safe and eager to attend.
• Observe development in real time and document progress for personalized learning.
• Adjust activities to each child's interests and developmental needs.
• Partner with families to share growth milestones beyond the classroom.
