Job summary

Penn Medicine's Norlanco Family Medicine in Elizabethtown, PA is seeking an experienced registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to provide patient care in a physician practice setting. Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, medication reconciliation, injections, tests, and supporting care coordination across sites.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as RN or LPN issued by the PA State Board.
• Two to three years of nursing experience in a primary or specialty care physician’s office.
• AHA CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• This role requires occasional regional travel to multiple sites.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing services to patients at a provider’s office.
• Greets patients, prepares exam rooms, and documents medical history.
• Measures vital signs and records in patient chart.
• Administers injections and medications as prescribed.
• Assists with procedures, minor surgeries, and exams.
• Performs tests such as hearing, EKGs, or vision when requested.
• Coordinates referrals and care plans with providers.
