Position Overview

Penn Medicine is dedicated to providing the highest level of care, conducting innovative research, and educating future medical leaders. Working here means collaborating with top professionals across disciplines.

Location: Twin Rose Family Medicine - rotating between Columbia & Wrightsville offices

Hours: 36 hours/week, rotating evenings and Saturdays

Role: To provide nursing services to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a clinical resource and guide for staff.
  • Provide clinical advice via phone and electronic correspondence, following protocols and standards.
  • Educate patients on preventive care, chronic disease management, medications, and more.
  • Greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and verify patient information.
  • Measure vital signs, review medications, administer injections, and assist in procedures.
  • Perform tests, collect specimens, and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate care, manage referrals, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient experience standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current PA licensure as RN or LPN.
  • 2-3 years of nursing experience in a primary or specialty care setting.
  • CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to travel regionally to multiple sites.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
Credentials
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) - PA license required.
