Location: Lancaster, PA

Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week

Office Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-9:00pm; Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm

Summary:

  • Provide nursing services to patients at a provider’s office, including care for pediatric infants to geriatric patients.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and guide for staff, providing assistance as needed.
  • Offer clinical advice via phone and electronic correspondence, following protocols and consulting with providers as necessary.
  • Educate patients on preventive care, chronic disease management, medications, and other relevant topics.
  • Greet patients, prepare them for visits, and verify medical information by interviewing and documenting in the patient chart.
  • Measure vital signs, update medication lists, and address medication concerns.
  • Administer injections and medications per provider instructions and protocols.
  • Assist with procedures, minor surgeries, and tests such as EKGs, hearing and vision tests, and blood collection.
  • Manage prescriptions, test results, wound care, and maintain a clean and stocked exam environment.
  • Coordinate care plans, follow-up, and community resources, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a patient experience advocate, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  • Participate in performance evaluations, on-call duties, and other projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current RN or LPN licensure issued by the PA State Board of Nursing.
  • 2-3 years of nursing experience in a primary or specialty care setting.
  • AHA CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to travel regionally to multiple sites.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical environment.
