Job Title: Senior Developer / Tech Lead in PowerBuilder & .NET Development

Job Type: Contract-to-hire

Worksite Schedule: 4-days onsite in Addison, TX (Monday – Thursday, Fridays remote)

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance a PowerBuilder-based core business application.
• Support and troubleshoot existing PowerBuilder and .NET components.
• Assist in designing and developing new enterprise-level .NET solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets business needs.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.
• Work with a Sybase back-end, with plans for future migration to SQL Server.
• Support potential cloud migration efforts, leveraging Azure where applicable.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience with .NET (C#) and Microsoft technologies at an enterprise level.
• Strong database experience, particularly with Sybase and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
