Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Lead Power Systems Engineer in Louisville, KY to provide engineering consultation for power systems studies, installation, startup, maintenance and training. The role is hybrid with about 25% regional travel.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Minimum of 7 years electrical engineering experience.
Must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the listed work locations.

Responsibilities

Provide technical consultation in power systems studies, power quality analysis, installation, startup, maintenance and training.
Independently manage assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery within budgeted costs and maintaining job cost accountability.
Interpret customer specifications to develop tailored technical proposals and pricing strategies.
Provide innovative solutions, including equipment upgrades and system testing to improve performance and safety.
Lead and mentor engineers on medium-sized projects, fostering technical growth.
Conduct and analyze Short-Circuit, LV/MV Coordination, and Arc Flash studies with precision and insight.
