Qualifications

• MSEE or Ph.D. in Power Electronics preferred.
• Minimum 6 years in switching power converter design.
• Strong foundation in analog circuits, power electronics and power management systems.
• Experience with DC/DC converters (Buck, Boost, etc.) design and optimization.
• Knowledge of transformer-based converters (Flyback, forward, half-bridge, full-bridge).
• Strong analytical skills; familiarity with power converter modeling, control architecture and loop design.
• Proficiency with design/simulation tools (SPICE/LTspice, Simplis, MATLAB/MathCAD, Ansys/Maxwell).
• Strong hardware and circuit debugging skills.
• Firmware/FPGA programming and I2C/PMBus experience preferred.
• Magnetic design and thermal analysis knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead power module product development from definition to release.
• Collaborate with marketing, Applications teams and customers on applications and architectural decisions.
• Develop techniques for advanced products and technology applications.
• Identify technical risks and define mitigating strategies with milestones.
• Enhance development flows and quality with advanced tools and methods.
• Prepare and present design review documentation at peer reviews.
• Work cross-functionally to drive schedules and meet performance targets.
• Perform lab evaluation or debugging.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers for technical growth.
• Deliver technical writing, presentations and training.
