Job summary

Fermi America is seeking a senior project leader to own a natural gas generation project from FEED through FID, construction, commissioning, and turnover. You will direct EPC contractors, manage safety, cost, schedule, quality, and contract outcomes, and make execution decisions on complex front end development and design issues.

You will also drive contracting strategy, bid evaluation, change control, and regulatory compliance while reporting progress to executive leadership and ensuring

Qualifications

• 15+ years delivering natural gas power projects across FEED, EPC, and commissioning.
• 5+ years in a leadership role with direct accountability.
• Experience delivering 300 MW+ gas-fired projects from award to COD.
• FEED development, basis of design, and cost/schedule controls.
• Strong command of EPC contracts, permits, and testing protocols.
• Engineering or construction management degree required.

Responsibilities

• Own a natural gas generation project from FEED through FID, COD, and turnover.
• Direct EPC contractors, manage safety, cost, schedule, and quality outcomes.
• Oversee front end development, contract strategy, and change control.
• Maintain cost forecasts, schedules (Primavera), and executive reporting.
• Ensure design reviews, regulatory compliance, and performance testing.
