GXO Logistics is seeking a Power BI & Microsoft Fabric Platform Administrator in the United States. The role focuses on administering, securing, and optimizing the organization's analytics platform to enable data-driven decision making across the enterprise.

You will work with Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and business stakeholders to build a modern analytics platform, ensuring reliability, governance, and scalability across reporting services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in BI, Data Warehousing, Analytics, and Reporting platforms with focus on Microsoft tech.
• 5+ years administering enterprise Power BI environments (tenant governance, deployment, security).
• 3+ years administering Microsoft Fabric workloads (OneLake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Data Factory).
• Experience managing Power BI Premium and Fabric capacities (planning, performance, throttling resolution).
• Experience implementing Power BI security controls (RLS, Azure AD integration, workspace permissions).
• Experience administering On-Premises Data Gateways (install/upgrade/troubleshoot, HA/DR).
• Extensive SQL Server administration experience (backup, security, replication, high availability).
• Experience deploying across Production/Pre-Production/Test/Development environments (deployments, refreshes, release management).
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, PowerShell automation, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Power BI, including tenant governance, workspace setup, report deployment, security, and config.
• Manage Microsoft Fabric workloads: OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory, Real-Time Analytics, Fabric Capacity Management.
• Monitor and optimize Power BI Premium and Fabric capacities; plan capacity, resolve throttling, ensure performance.
• Enforce governance standards: workspace lifecycle, naming, content certification, deployment pipelines, tenant settings.
• Implement Power BI security controls: RLS, Azure AD integration, workspace permissions, external sharing.
• Maintain On-Premises Data Gateways for high availability and DR.
• Support SQL Server ecosystems: admin, back-up/recovery, security, replication, high availability.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Git, PowerShell to improve efficiency and uptime.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues, perform root-cause analysis, support critical reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Eng, Infra, Security, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, governed analytics platforms.
