Job summary

Prestage Farms is seeking a Process Line Lead to coordinate evisceration area lines resources, scheduling, and operating assignments. You will train team members to safely handle, inspect, and sort poultry at each process step and report to the area supervisor.

This role emphasizes safety-first operations, GMP and USDA compliance, and teamwork. You will work Tuesday–Friday day shift with flexibility for early/ late shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (Min.)
• Min. of 2 years of work experience in food processing or manufacturing environment
• Experience in a lead operator position
• Solid understanding of food safety compliance
• Detail-oriented; self-directed; able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player and natural leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Lead resources to safely setup, operate, and maintain the Debone lines
• Execute housekeeping in evisceration or controlled stunning areas
• Troubleshoot and coordinate with maintenance on equipment
• Maintain a safety-first mindset in all operations
• Ensure GMP, Safety, and USDA guidelines are followed to achieve top quality
• Learn new skills, cross-train others, and improve processes
• Collaborate with supervisor on employee performance and feedback
• Perform other duties as directed
