The Lead Porter plays a vital role in ensuring a pristine, welcoming, and well-organized residential environment, leading a dedicated team of porters to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and service. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate residents’ needs while supporting the House Manager and Residence Butler team. The role emphasizes team leadership, quality service, safety, and seamless collaboration across departments to provide an exceptional living experience for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the team of porters, ensuring that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

• Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and attention to detail among the porter team.

• Train and mentor new porters, ensuring they adhere to Rosewood’s standards.

• Maintain cleanliness across all public and back-of-house areas, including floors, furniture, windows, restrooms, corridors, and high-touch surfaces.

• Ensure all areas, including gym, lounges, and pool deck, are cleaned and properly staged for resident use.

• Manage mail, packages, and deliveries promptly and with care.

• Escort guests and vendors, providing directions and assistance as needed.

• Support arrival and departure services, including home preparations.

• Oversee the organization and cleanliness of office spaces, loading docks, and back-of-house areas in collaboration with Engineering.

• Maintain records of resident preferences for personalized service.

• Adhere to Rosewood’s policies, sustainable work practices, and IMPACT initiatives while promoting safety and operational excellence.
