Job summary

RiseMe's Greenbelt Aquatic & Fitness Center is seeking a Pool Manager to supervise lifeguards, monitor staff, and manage water chemistry, ensuring a safe and high-quality swimming environment. The role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership, with hands-on oversight of daily operations, safety compliance, and facility maintenance.

This on-site position demands a certified lifeguard and a commitment to customer service and team performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ preferred).
• Prince George’s County Pool Operator’s License.
• Current ARC Lifeguard Training, First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and AED.
• One year in pool management/supervisor role and three years lifeguarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lifeguards and staff on duty.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations.
• Maintain water quality per health codes.
• Perform pre-opening and closing facility checks.
• Keep daily logs of questions, problems, and situations for reference by management.
• Oversee conduct and discipline of patrons and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
