V Group Inc. is looking for a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end SharePoint Cloud Migration for GDOT in Georgia. The role requires coordinating across architecture, migration, modernization, testing, deployment, stabilization, and knowledge transfer while aligning with GDOT policies.

The candidate will manage master schedules, PMPs, and WBS, oversee risk and change control, and communicate progress through regular status reports. In-person interviews in Georgia are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale SharePoint migration and Microsoft 365 modernization projects.
• Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, stakeholder management, and reporting.
• Experience managing fixed-price, milestone-based projects.
• Experience working within government, public sector, or regulated environments.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary supplier point of contact for GDOT IT stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain the Master Project Schedule, Project Management Plan (PMP), and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) within 15 business days of contract award.
• Coordinate project discovery, architecture planning, migration, modernization, testing, cutover, stabilization, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and escalation procedures.
• Prepare and deliver weekly or bi-weekly project status reports, including accomplishments, schedule updates, risks, issues, corrective actions, and project impacts.
• Facilitate project meetings, provide meeting documentation when required, and lead stage-gate review sessions.
• Incorporate a 15% schedule and budget contingency into project planning and execution strategies.
• Communicate blockers, risks, and anticipated delays to GDOT within one week of identification.
• Ensure compliance with GDOT security, change-control, and deployment procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate resource allocation, stakeholder communications, and project governance activities to ensure successful delivery.
