Job summary

BravoTECH is seeking an experienced Data Governance & Migration Project Manager to lead an enterprise data classification initiative and phased migration from on-premises storage to SharePoint. You will work across IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, and business teams to identify sensitive data, establish ownership, and coordinate remediation and migration activities.

The role combines hands-on governance with project leadership, requiring collaboration with Concentric.ai and Quest migration tools

Qualifications

5+ years of project leadership experience in data governance or enterprise migration programs.
Experience leading cross-functional teams across IT, Security, Legal, Compliance and business units.
Hands-on with data classification, DLP, or DSPM technologies and migration tooling.
Strong facilitation and communication skills for executive reporting and workshops.

Responsibilities

Lead data classification and SharePoint migration from discovery to stabilization.
Own project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and decisions for executive visibility.
Coordinate with Concentric.ai for discovery, classification, validation, remediation.
Use Quest tools for file migrations, permissions mapping, and validation.
Run workshops with business leaders to define ownership, retention, and migration destinations.
Map data across file shares, SharePoint, cloud storage, email, endpoints, and other repos.
Validate results with data owners and remediate overexposed or sensitive data.
Develop a phased migration strategy by department and plan pilots/rollouts.
Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot configuration and migration issues.
Create communications, training materials, RACI documents, and change-management plans.
Track metrics for governance, migration progress, and risk reduction.
