About the Role: The Lead Plumbing Mechanic plays a critical role in overseeing and executing complex plumbing installations and repair projects across various residential sites. This position requires leading a team of plumbing professionals to ensure that all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. The Lead Plumbing Mechanic is responsible for interpreting blueprints, coordinating with contractors and clients, and troubleshooting advanced plumbing systems to deliver efficient and reliable solutions. This role demands a proactive approach to managing resources, scheduling tasks, and mentoring junior team members to enhance overall team performance. Ultimately, the Lead Plumbing Mechanic ensures the successful completion of plumbing projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid plumbing license or certification as required by the state.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing installation and repair.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program in plumbing.
• Experience with advanced plumbing systems such as hydronic heating, medical gas, and fire suppression systems.
• Certification in OSHA safety standards or equivalent safety training.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or plumbing design software.
• Strong project management or construction management experience.

Responsibilities
