Job summary

CGC Services in Anchorage, Alaska seeks a Plumbing Foreman to lead commercial and residential mechanical installations. You will oversee daily field operations, mentor apprentice plumbers, and ensure high-quality plumbing, heating, and gas piping work is completed on time and safely.

You will read blueprints, supervise crews, coordinate with project managers, and maintain tools and safety standards while delivering projects that meet client expectations and prevailing wage requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman Plumber License from Alaska and Municipality of Anchorage license.
• Valid Alaska Driver’s License.
• Experience reading technical drawings, blueprints, and project schematics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working in confined spaces and at heights up to 60 feet.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, assign, and evaluate daily tasks of apprentice plumbers and field crews.
• Interpret shop drawings and as-builts to guide field installations.
• Install, cut, bend, and thread pipes, valves, and fixtures for complex systems.
• Plan and oversee installation and testing of gas lines on site.
• Document daily project progress and field updates using phone or tablet.
• Provide oversight to subcontractors and supervise when Project Manager is away.

Municipality of Anchorage journeyman license
