Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in plumbing design for buildings, including domestic water, sanitary, storm, and specialty systems.
• Experience producing and reviewing construction drawings with other disciplines and codes.
• Familiarity with fire protection interfaces with plumbing and mechanical systems.
• HVAC coordination to integrate plumbing work in building designs.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, or BIM tools and MS Office.
• Several years of progressive plumbing design experience in consulting engineering.
• Understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing system design for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
• Prepare and review construction drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Coordinate plumbing with mechanical, electrical, and fire protection disciplines.
• Perform calculations and equipment selections; ensure code compliance.
• Review drawings, mark up, and support junior team members.
