Job summary

Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District Maintenance in Houston, Texas is seeking a Plumber Lead who provides direction when the Foreman is unavailable. Immediately starting, 261-day term with a salary of $30.67 per hour, and opportunities to oversee plumbing teams on large projects.

Required are 7+ years of trade experience, thorough knowledge of codes and ordinances, and the ability to read and edit specifications for new construction. Strong English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
• Must have clear and acceptable driving record as determined by the Texas School Bus Driver’s requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of a Plumber I, II, III and IV.
• Maintain a good working relationship with fellow employees.
• Serve as first contact for problems, concerns or grievances.
• Make recommendations concerning advancement and discipline of staff to Foreman.
• Approve purchases, work orders and daily business when Foreman is not available.
