Job summary

Pinellas County Jail seeks a Craftworker 2 (plumbing) to lead field projects within the Detention division. The role requires advanced technical knowledge in plumbing/mechanical systems and supervision of one or more helpers on projects.

Responsibilities include supervising complex installations, repairs, and maintenance of building systems, and coordinating materials and blueprints while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of skilled craft or trade experience in building systems and supervision.
• Florida Driver's License.
• Ability to work varied schedules including emergencies and disasters.

Responsibilities

• Supervises construction, renovation, and additions to county buildings.
• Performs advanced skilled work in asset lifecycle management and maintenance.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing and mechanical systems in large facilities.
• Repairs electrical systems including switches and lighting equipment.
