Job summary

Wilkes University invites applicants for a Plumber in the office of Campus Support Services. The successful candidate will work independently or with colleagues to repair, install and maintain campus plumbing systems and equipment.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of plumbing experience and a Journeyman license, plus a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license is also required; the university benefits from a diverse workforce and offers generous tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years plumbing experience.
• Journeyman plumbing license required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, maintain, repair and replace plumbing systems and equipment.
• Perform routine/preventative maintenance; respond to and prioritize repair requests.
• Plan and organize work; manage on-call schedule and delegate calls as needed.
