Job summary

LECO in St. Joseph, Michigan is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Metal Finishing Department. You will oversee daily shift schedules, react to production requirements, and drive productivity while maintaining quality and safety.

You will enforce department policies, manage training, and coordinate materials and documentation to ensure compliant fabrication and timely delivery. This role requires attention to detail and capable team leadership on a full-time day shift.

Qualifications

• Typing and clerical accuracy, strong organizational skills and math aptitude.
• Quality procedures knowledge and LECO-instructed training is expected.
• Experience with Oracle BOM and LECO ERP modules is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift schedules and respond to production requirements.
• Enforce department policies and administer employee reviews and discipline.
• Maintain neat work areas, provide daily schedules, and ensure quality control.
• Devise and update training procedures and records.
• Control non-conforming material and initiate corrective actions.
• Support in quality testing and risk register maintenance.
