Job summary

NYC Housing Authority is seeking a Supervisor Plasterer to lead plastering operations, review blueprints, and supervise crews on interior and exterior surfaces. You will coordinate with capital projects and review plans to meet codes and specifications.

The role requires civil service status in the Supervisor Plasterer title, and you may participate in interviews and assessments for the trade. NYCHA provides strong benefits including medical plans, deferred compensation, and a defined pension.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of permanent service in the title of Plasterer.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct and inspect plastering work including lime putty, gypsum mortar, Keene cement, scratch, brown and finish coats on interior and exterior surfaces.
• Ensure staff are equipped with PPE and safety precautions are observed.
