Job summary

Johnsonville Sausage, LLC in Holton, KS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of refrigeration, HVAC, hot water generation and utility systems at the Holton plant.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, support PSM compliance and safety programs, and mentor colleagues in refrigeration/HVAC basics while maintaining parts inventory.

Qualifications

• Completion of Class I/II Industrial Refrigeration with RETA certification.
• Industrial Ammonia PSM course and Certification completed.
• Technical training in relevant area required.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant refrigeration, HVAC, hot water generation and utility systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of refrigeration, HVAC, boiler and utilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical problems on plant systems.
• Drive PSM program and ensure compliance.
• Maintain HAZMAT program and equipment.
• Mentor colleagues in refrigeration/HVAC basics and SOPs.
• Coordinate spare parts inventory with Planner and Parts clerk.
