Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Lead, Plant Operations As a Lead, Plant Operations you will be responsible for supporting daily plant operations, coordinating workflows and communicating effectively with plant leadership and peers.

  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
  • Loads and/or unloads drums and containers from trucks in a safe and compliant manner
  • Processes and/or stores hazardous waste materials in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
  • Weighs and breaks down large containers to consolidate into smaller containers
  • Samples and inspects all containers upon receipt to ensure accuracy, compliance and proper classification
  • Operates a forklift to retrieve, move and stage drums and containers from storage; operates computer systems and conveyor equipment
  • Transports/positions trailers and tankers for collection of slag and ash
  • Performs safe and compliant operations of the tank farm, kiln and gas train
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to support safety and operational efficiency
  • Provides guidance to team members as needed and escalates issues appropriately for technical guidance or additional needs from supervisor
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
