Job summary

Envirogen in Memphis, TN is seeking a Senior Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting the operation and maintenance of our ion exchange regeneration facility. You will work closely with the Plant Manager and Engineering to ensure safe, reliable operation and take ownership of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial plant maintenance.
• Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with pumps, compressors, piping systems, instrumentation, and industrial process equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in welding, fabrication, general construction, or heavy equipment operation would be advantageous.
• OSHA 40-Hour Training would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the facility.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain pumps, blowers, compressors, piping systems, instrumentation, flow meters, gauges, and other process equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, including work orders, spare parts inventory, and parts requisitions.
• Work with Plant Management and Engineering to improve plant reliability, performance, and operating procedures.
• Support environmental, health, and safety compliance initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
• Conduct monthly site safety audits.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, including obtaining quotations, supporting contractor selection, overseeing site works, and ensuring quality standards are met.
