Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking a Manufacturing/Electrical Engineer to lead design and implementation of equipment for production. The role requires a BS in electrical engineering (3–5 years) or MS (3–4 years) with broad engineering knowledge and hands-on project leadership.

The engineer will manage budgets, supervise teams, and coordinate with departments to resolve parts issues, while applying CAD and PLC/HMI expertise to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in electrical engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience or an MS with 3–4 years.
• Broad knowledge of mechanical, industrial and materials science engineering and investment casting.
• Ability to supervise/direct professionals with diverse expertise and manage major projects.

Responsibilities

• Specify and design equipment for manufacturing processes.
• Direct installation of equipment and processes in manufacturing environments.
• Manage budgets and keep projects on budget.
• Provide after-installation equipment support and improvements.
• Oversee general construction projects.
• Interface with multiple departments to resolve parts problems.
• Work with teams using math and statistics to plan and model outcomes.
• Represent PCC with customers and suppliers.
• Develop and adhere to project timetables.
